One of the main elements needed in creating a scaleable digital process for fabricating custom fitted prosthetic sockets is a software to automate the design. We began automating steps of the process with our software which takes 3D scans of limbs, maps the anatomy and pressure zones, and begins to generate the socket design for an accurate fit.
